I have just returned from the opening of my solo exhibition in the National Art Museum of Moldova. I had a couple of full days that included television interviews, dinner at the German embassy and a visit to Orheiul Vechi (this is an ancient settlement on the left bank of the Raut river). Everyone was very welcoming and hospitable, especially Tudor Zbarnea (Museum Director). During my opening I also received a ‘Diploma in Excellency from the Ministry of Culture from the Republic of Moldova’. This was awarded to me for art works exhibited in the International Painting Biennial held in the Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre, Chisinau, Moldova. These works will also be exhibited in the Cotroceni National Museum, Bucharest, Romania later this month.
