I’ve been researching into broadsides and chapbooks for a creative project, there are some facsmiles in mmu special collections , and I recently visited Chetham’s Library where they have boxes of them. There are plans to digitize all the collections held in Manchester in the near future, which will create a resource similar to ‘The Word on the Street’ based on collections in the National Library of Scotland.
